Satellite Programme With Canossian School (CS)

The hearing impaired students of CS joined CCPS for all lessons except Mother Tongue. This seamless integration of students from both schools has provided CS pupils the opportunity to be immersed in a hearing environment and CCPS pupils an environment where they begin to increase their awareness and sensitivity to students with special needs and develop empathy. It supports language development for both groups of students as they learn how to better communicate and interact with their peers from a diverse environment. 


Satellite Partnership between Canossian School and Canossa Convent

Our satellite partnership is a planned and sustainable partnership focusing on providing purposeful and appropriate inclusion opportunities between SPED and mainstream school students. 

A majority of the hearing-impaired pupils from Canossian School (CS) join Canossa Convent Primary School (CCPS) for all lessons except Mother Tongue. However there are a few CS pupils who also attend Mother Tongue classes. 

This seamless integration of pupils from both schools has provided CS pupils with the opportunity to be immersed in a hearing environment and CCPS pupils to be in an environment where they can increase their awareness, sensitivity and empathy towards pupils with special needs. 

Communication is enhanced between both groups of pupils as they learn how to better communicate and interact with their peers from diverse backgrounds.
